Replace the relay with a Stancor contactor. Search on Stancor and you will get several threads. In the meantime, to confirm the diagnosis, use a multimeter tomorrow when you turn the key on and check the voltage at the two large posts on the relay. They should be identical and match what the battery is putting out.

Where is the glow plug relay located on an OBS? I wanna check it to see if its bad or if the actual glow plugs are bad. If its the glow plugs, I plan on doing stage 1 injectors when im changing the glow plugs:woot: If its the realy, injectors are gunna wait awhile.

Received 2,671 Likes on 1,853 Posts. first thing you need to do is see if the glow plugs are getting power or not. all my trucks have a small light hooked to the output side of the relay going to the glow plugs. if the light comes on, they are getting power. i do not trust the wait to start light. To check the glowplug relay (GPR), measure the voltage drop across the GPR's large terminals. While the GPR is active (up to 1.5 to 2 minutes after the key is turned to Wait-to-Start) put your meter leads on the large terminals (one lead on one large terminal and the other lead on the other large terminal).
